As businesses shift their commercial fleets to electric vehicles (EVs), the critical decision of determining the location of the recharging station for these vehicles carries important financial and operational implications. In this study, we consider the placement of a single recharging station to maximize the feasible traffic flow in a given day. We assume the set of possible candidate points belongs to a continuous set and develop an exact solution algorithm for solving a general network consisting of multiple origin and destination pairs. The exact algorithm determines the set of optimal points for the locations of the recharging station.
